Monika's Art Boutique & Studio is working art studio and boutique gallery. Monika Blichar, Founder and Owner, is leading a team to offer an array of services including art education, retail art sales, specialty workshops and events as well as hosting a podcast “The Art World Podcast” on all major streaming platforms. With over 16 years teaching experience as well as 13 years as a creative entrepreneur, Monika and her team of dedicated professionals offer an array of ways for children and adults alike to express themselves as well as enjoy, purchase and collect unique pieces by artists from around the world. Monika is passionate about creativity and imagination and strives to offer visitors and students alike to believe that anything is possible.
Our boutique gallery is host to over 50 artists and designers annually including visual artists, jewellers, fashion designers as well as British Columbia Squamish Nation Artists. We love to find unique items and make them available to customers as gift ideas or as additions to collections for art collectors. As all of our artists are constantly creating new pieces, our selection of merchandise is always changing and being updated to suit each season. The studio is consistently bustling with arts programs and specialty workshops for kids, adults and seniors. We offer programming for children and adults including painting, jewellery making, fashion workshops and specialty workshops. We also offer kids art camps during summer, winter and spring break as well as after school classes year round and our team works with dozens of daycares, schools, community centres and senior centres to offer creative arts classes at facilities across British Columbia. In 2022, we launched a licensee program for educators to expand our programs around the world with the goal to reach and inspire a million students in 2024.
