Ambleside Market happens every Sunday on Bellevue Avenue in West Vancouver, BC 10am -4pm

What a great day at Ambleside Market in West Vancouver yesterday! So many people, such great weather and really fabulous local finds! If you haven’t been yet, we highly recommend checking it out on a Sunday through October this year! As an avid farmer’s market goer, we love to shop local whenever we can, but this market is really something special. From organic non-gmo foods, to local artisans, to dog cookies, veggie dips, clothing and even locally made beauty products and live entertainment, there is no shortage of local finds! With over 50 vendors this past Sunday, we were fabulously surprised!

At the Make and Break Arts Foundation  booth yesterday, we featured our fundraising items to help support our studio this summer. Coastal Storm Gallery Masks in the Animal and Maple Leaf series, Art by Edy Greeting Cards and Magnets, and the French paintings and cards by Monika Blichar. Thank you to those of you who supported our fundraising! It’s wonderful to see how people of all ages, light up at the sight of art and creativity! We had chalk in front of our booth and kids of all ages helped themselves to being creative in the summer sun! We also gave away a PAINTING PARTY IN OUR STUDIO to a lucky winner too!

We featured art Cards by Monika and Edy, the #40paintingchallenge paintings by Monika and the fabulous Coastal Storm Gallery Masks. Cards are $4/each, masks $20 with a free painting class, and Monika’s paintings are $100 or $150 framed! If you are interested in some of the paintings, cards or masks, have a peek below, you can order now and help support the studio this summer! We have a whopping 125 kids registered for camps this summer! Our first group of 10 girls is coming today!

Thank you to all of our past vendors and exhibitors for being a part of Art World Expo the last 5 years!

We are thrilled that since 2010, this event has featured more than 600 artists! A great accomplishment for our city and for the arts and cultural sector in BC.

Now that we’ve reached a celebratory five years of producing Art World Expo, we are looking forward to new projects and programs along with a national expansion to Toronto.

As with any craft or art form, we always want to progress and offer our clients the best of what we are able to do in our field. Whether you are a jewellery designer or a painter, one of the goals we all have as business owners in the arts is to maintain focus on how to improve our business and offer more value within our companies; be it within services or products.

One of the goals at Art World Expo is to offer unique and interesting platforms for artists and arts related companies such as galleries, dance schools, musicians and fashion designers. We have had the absolute pleasure of being in a position to put this event and brand together, and as we move forward, we are excited at the opportunity to offer our artists another platform in Toronto as well as online.

Currently, we are opening up submissions for all past artists in the Art World Expo since 2010. Submissions for all past exhibitors and artists will be open until May 30, 2015. This submission will include a substantial savings and benefits package for artists who register in either the Toronto 2015 or Vancouver 2016 events. We will also be working with the artists who sign up and integrating a brand new online store in addition to services including Social Media Marketing, Sales Training and Video Interviews for our Exhibitors.

Some of you have noticed that we are vamping up advertising and sponsorship opportunities and we are especially interested in featuring artists and arts related companies rather than large scale brands within the Expo.

Below are pre-sale prices for advertising rates:

1-Walking Ads (pictures are attached) $150+gst

2-Swag Bag Contribution - FREE-swag bags must include a free sample or product/service give away. We are no longer accepting discount codes or coupons in our swag bags. We are doing 750 Bags for Toronto and 1000 for Vancouver.

3-Silent Auction -50% of the proceeds of your item sold back to the artist/gallery  

4-Event Program-We are integrating an event program and mini magazine with: -Event Map -list of artists in the event -event itinerary-advertising from artists, galleries, sponsors, etc. Ads $100 Half Page $200 full page
